Personal Care Aide (PCA) – Job Description
Position: Personal Care Aide (PCA)
Department: Home Care Services
Reports to: RN Supervisor / Administrator
Job Summary
The Personal Care Aide provides compassionate, hands-on support to clients in their homes. PCAs help clients maintain independence, safety, and dignity while assisting with daily living activities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide hands-on personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
Support with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration
Perform light housekeeping and laundry
Provide medication reminders (non-clinical)
Offer companionship and emotional support
Observe, document, and report changes in client condition
Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment
Follow care plans, agency policies, and Medicaid/DMAS guidelines
Qualifications
PCA Certification or CNA (accepted for PCA role)
CPR/First Aid preferred
Reliable transportation
Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks
Strong communication and professionalism

Reports to: Cleaning Manager / Administrator
Job Summary
Home & Apartment Cleaners provide high-quality cleaning services to ensure clients’ living spaces are sanitized, organized, and welcoming. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, safe environments.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize bathrooms (toilets, tubs, sinks, floors)
Clean kitchens, including counters, appliances, sinks, and floors
Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust all required areas
Change linens, make beds, and organize living spaces
Remove trash and recycling
Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned (baseboards, windows, ovens, etc.)
Restock paper products and cleaning supplies as needed
Maintain cleaning equipment and follow safety protocols
Ensure excellent professional customer service
Qualifications
Prior cleaning experience preferred but not required
Ability to lift 20–30 lbs
Reliable transportation
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently
